It’s also Birthday Week!

Guys, can I even tell you that my birthday is coming up on Thursday, and as much as I have been DREADING turning 30, I’ve been enjoying the HELL out of the week leading up to it. This week is always crazy — two of my best friends have their birthdays days before mine, so lots of partying and good times are had. Here’s kind of a virtual brain dump of photos and memories from the past INSANE week of birthday parties and party planning.

It started with my best girl Coco’s birthday on July 2th. We spent an awesome day at the beach. I hadn’t been to Venice since I was in either Jr high or high school.

This was actually the FIRST time seeing the canals in person.

Then my other bff Oliver had his bday on the 31st. Coco and I went out to a bar on Saturday (I know, I actually went out on a Saturday night). Then Aaron and I spent his ACTUAL birthday with him at dinner at his place on Sunday. Ollie made us all chili and his girlfriend Marianne made cupcakes and, in the usual Oliver style, he made an amazing mix of music that he entitled (to my delight) “Megan chili time.”

And now it’s my turn!

Last night my second family, The Wolfs, held a birthday dinner in my honor with all my favorite food and drinks!

My sister Morgan even made an appearance!

I came home with a new aloe plant from Amy, a Magic Bullet (which I shall, from here on, call my guacamole machine), and my mom got me an adorable “F” charm necklace from Helen Ficalora.

But my actual birthday is coming up on Thursday and I’m in the midst of planning a party. The details are starting to come together and I’m getting SO excited about it. I think my next blog post shall be a roundup of ideas and the plans so far. So stay tuned for that.
